RogueLiteOnline is a tiny roguelite multiplayer online roleplaying game.

Most traditional roguelites and roguelikes typically have permadeath. With RLO, we take a slightly different approach to the term "roguelite".

The overworld is a scary place. Even though you drop your items on death,  you can still retrieve them from your corpse (unless somebody claimed them first).

But the overworld is just the beginning.

The world of RLO revolves heavily around instanced dungeons. Your party (or yourself, if you're brave enough for a solo dungeon crawl) has only a few lives per dungeon, so it's important to bring a balanced and well-equipped team if you hope to make it out alive.

Lose your last life, and you return to the overworld with nothing but the experience you've gained and a renewed understanding of the true dangers that lie beneath the dungeon's depths.

You live. You die. You live again.

We have an active Discord community that features discussions and frequent updates about the game in realtime, and it's also where we conduct community polls to help shape the development and the future of RLO.

RLO is current in an early alpha development phase, so areas will be locked off and features may feel unbalanced or unfinished. Your feedback and playtesting is vital as we work around the clock to bring RLO closer and closer to a 1.0 release.
